Progress of EE&C Master Plan Development Project

Project outline
Project objective is to draft EE&C Master Plan and to propose EE&C programs (policies) frameworks, such as “Energy Management Program”, “Energy Efficiency Labeling Program”, “Energy Efficiency Building Program”, “EE&C Finance Program” and other programs on awareness/dissemination, global warming countermeasure, and energy data collection mechanism.

The Project has been implemented by joint works of SREDA and JICA Project Team.

Project Implementation Schedule

JICA Project Team’s 1st Mission (1^st – 20^th February, 2014)

Project implementation methodology was proposed by JICA Project Team. 1^st JCC (Joint Coordination Committee) and 1^st seminar were held. Around 60 people participated in the 1st seminar.

1^st Seminar

JICA Project Team’s 2nd Mission (10th May – 30th May, 2014)

Following committees and WGs (Working Groups) were held to discuss EE&C programs and relating issues. Besides the meetings, energy audits and hearing to the stakeholders were done.

1^st Energy Management Program Committee

JICA Project Team’s 3rd Mission (31st Aug.–12th Sep., 2014)

Initial draft of EE&C Master Plan and its structure was proposed by JICA Project Team. Continuously, following committees and WGs were held.Also continuously, energy audits and hearing to the stakeholders were done.
